During the development of EventGenie I discovered a number of interesting Mac OS X and iPhoneOS calendar bugs.

1. ★On MacOS X 10.5.7 (9J61) iCal gets confused around the adoption of the Gregorian Calendar. See iCal screenshots #1, #2, and #3.
   

2. ★On iPhoneOS 2.2.1 the DatePicker gets confused around the adoption of the Gregorian Calendar. Year 1582 is missing. See EventGenie v1.0 screenshot #1.
   

3. ★On iPhoneOS 2.2.1 the DatePicker gets confused around Jan 1, 0001. See EventGenie v1.0 screenshot #2.
